Nutrition
We prioritise your child’s wellbeing with a thoughtfully planned daily refreshment program.
We are committed to promoting healthy eating by aligning our practices with the key messages of Munch & Move and Eat Smart, Play Smart, as well as the National Healthy Eating Guidelines for Early Education and Care outlined in the Get Up & Grow resources. This approach ensures that every child is supported with balanced, nutritious food choices that enhance their growth, development, and overall wellbeing.
By following these national guidelines, we use them as a foundation to plan our menus, helping to foster positive eating habits and encourage a lifelong appreciation for healthy food.
Food and Refreshments by Session
During each care session, children are offered a range of nutritious food options. Before School Care includes breakfast, while After School Care provides afternoon tea and a late-afternoon snack. During Vacation Care, breakfast and afternoon tea are supplied daily.
Fresh drinking water and a variety of seasonal fruits are always available, encouraging healthy habits and regular hydration.
Sample Daily Menu
Our menus follow a rotating schedule guided by Nutrition Australia and are regularly reviewed to meet the needs of all children. The menu is displayed at all times for parents and guardians to view.
Allergy Awareness
Your child’s safety is our priority. We understand that children with allergies and specific dietary needs require extra care, understanding and thoughtful support. Our educators work closely with families to build strong, trusting relationships and to ensure each child’s food requirements are clearly understood and respected. Where required, we implement individual risk minimisation plans, medical management plans and clear communication strategies to provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for every child in our care.
