Opening Early 2025
Ambrose Early Learning Good Shepherd Plumpton will be opening in 2025 (pending service approval), catering for children aged between 2-5 years.
We are committed to providing your child with quality care and education delivered in a safe, inclusive and caring environment as well as working closely with the Diocese of Parramatta to align with our Catholic values of respect, encouragement and care and the school’s educational framework.
Our guiding principle, ‘Learning for life,’ encapsulates our commitment at Ambrose Early Learning Good Shepherd to lay the foundational steps in your child’s educational path. We are dedicated to providing a warm and supportive setting that embraces a Play and Inquiry-based curriculum, aligned with the nationally recognised Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

As a not for profit organisation, supporting the whole community, the children and their families, with a heart-centered approach is the foundation of everything we do.

Our Team
Our team is comprised of qualified and experienced educators who are passionate about teaching and nurturing children. They receive continuous support for their ongoing professional development and industry-specific training, which further elevates the quality of education and care provided. All educators hold a verified working with children check clearance, current first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma certification to ensure the utmost safety and well-being of our children.
Ambrose Curriculum
At Ambrose Early Learning children are provided with opportunity to explore and develop, learning through a play-based curriculum. We are open long day care hours to support the needs of families in the community, offering a Preschool program throughout the day.

School Connections
Our convenient location beside the grounds of Good Shepherd Primary will provide many wonderful opportunities for introductions to school experiences, which may include visits to the library, meeting Kindergarten teachers and joining school events and activities. The experiences available to the children aim to assist a smooth and seamless continuity of experience into the school learning environment, building a strong foundation for school, supported by planned transition to Primary school experiences.
Healthy Eating
Ambrose Early Learning understands the importance of leading a healthy, active lifestyle in order for children to achieve optimum growth and development. Ambrose Early Learning is committed to implementing the key messages outlined in Munch & Move and in supporting the National Healthy Eating Guidelines for Early Childhood Settings.
Ambrose Early Learning Good Shepherd will provide healthy and nutritious meals including:
• Breakfast
• Morning tea
• Lunch
• Afternoon tea
• Late snack
An alternate menu is available to support children with allergies and dietary requirements.
